The Layline service is operated by the Layline team (“we”). Contact e-mail: ahoj@layline.cz.

Layline is a training log for sailors and coaches: recording of sessions and routes, performance analytics, race leaderboards, photo and video sharing and communication within a club. The basic log is free of charge; club and coaching features may be subject to fees under the current price list.

• You create an account through your club sign-in (SSO). You are responsible for keeping the account details accurate.
• Layline is also used by athletes under 15 years of age — their account is managed, and consent is given, by a legal guardian or by the club acting on the legal guardian’s consent.
• A coach’s access to an athlete’s data always arises from a confirmed coach–athlete link.
• Do not share your sign-in credentials; you are responsible for any activity under your account.

The sessions, routes, photos, videos and notes you upload to Layline remain yours. You grant us a licence to store and process them and to display them to those you make them available to (your team, your coach, the club’s public leaderboard). Nothing is made public automatically.

• Do not upload content you do not hold the rights to, or content that is offensive or unlawful.
• Share photos and videos of teammates only within your team, unless your club provides otherwise.
• We may remove content that violates these rules and restrict the account.

We publish a club’s public page (www.layline.cz/<club>/leaderboard) only with the club’s consent, and it shows only the data the club has marked as public. We do not publicly index detailed athlete profiles.

• The service is provided “as is”. We aim for maximum availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation.
• Route recording depends on your phone’s GPS and on conditions — data may be inaccurate and does not replace navigation or safety equipment.
• We are not liable for damage caused by decisions made on the basis of data in the app.

You can cancel your account at any time by sending a request to podpora@layline.cz. After cancellation we will delete your personal data in accordance with the privacy policy; anonymised club statistics may be retained.

We may update these terms; we will notify you of material changes in the app or by e-mail. Matters not covered by these terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.
